 Welcome
Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center was established in 1998 as
Ohio's first orthopedic practice dedicated to the specialized
care of the foot and ankle. The center continues to grow around
the broad goals of outstanding clinical care, research and
education, and community service. With almost 35,000 operations
under our belt, our doctors are the most experienced surgeons in
Columbus.
Commitment to the Community
Our offices occupy 20,000 square feet over 4 campuses.
Westerville, Dublin, Marietta, and our business office
in Worthington, provide for easy access for patients and
family. Onsite access to Xray, MRI, casting, and orthotics
allows for convenient complete care within one
appointment. Emergency and early morning appointments are
available everyday. With over 31 full time employees
dedicated to clinical care, our patients can expect timely and
comprehensive attention.
Leadership
Prestigious positions and honors by our doctors include
Chief, Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at The Ohio State
University; Chief, Division of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Grant
Medical Center; Teacher of the Year award 2003-05 at The Ohio
State University. Our doctors consult for the Ohio State
Buckeye Football and Basketball teams. Also consulting
Surgeons for Columbus BalletMet, Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey
team, and the Ohio University Athletic Department.
Education
The Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center is a pillar in the
foundation of outstanding education and research. The
doctors of OFAC lecture and speak regularly at national and
international meetings. With over 150 published articles,
chapters, and books, research at OFAC has made a difference in
the way doctors treat complex foot and ankle problems. Eight
local foot and ankle surgeons have trained at OFAC.
