Our physicians are currently involved with 30 research projects. This is what differentiates us from many of the Orthopedic and Podiatric Surgeons in the Midwest. Our physicians frequently attend national and international medical conferences to present their research.

Awards and Recognition

The physicians recently attended the 25th Annual Summer Meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. They presented 11 abstracts and won 2 outstanding awards at the conference.

The abstract titled “Early Weight Bearing of Calcaneal Fractures with Locked Plates” won 2nd prize.

Also, the physicians won the Roger A. Mann Award for Outstanding Clinical paper titled “Prospective Controlled Trial of STAR Total Ankle Replacement Versus Ankle Fusion: Initial Results”
